We aim to be as transparent as possible when it comes to the origins of our materials. We have carefully selected our partners, making sure that they meet the highest standards.

All our gold and silver suppliers are certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) as well as by the LBMA, making sure that business is conducted in a responsible, humane and environmentally friendly way. Furthermore DDNA only makes use of conflict-free diamonds. All of our diamond suppliers therefore follow the principles for transparency stipulated by the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme and the World Diamond Council System of Warranties.

All of our jewelry is made to order and will be dispatched from our atelier within 4-7 working days. In case you order a personalized piece, please note that due to the design and manufacturing process, you can expect to receive your unique piece within 4-6 weeks.

DDNA offers complimentary standard shipping on all orders within the Netherlands, delivered by Micropakket within working 1-2 days.

The EU

DDNA offers complimentary standard shipping within the EU on all orders above €250. Order below this amount will be charged a shipping fee of €10. All orders are delivered with DHL standard shipping within 2-3 working days.

Worldwide   

DDNA offers complimentary standard shipping on all worldwide orders above €250. Orders below this amount will be charged a shipping fee of €20. All orders are delivered with DHL standard shipping within 5-10 working days. Please note that the delivery to rural addresses can result in longer delivery times.

DDNA is happy to help you with any urgent and express delivery requests. Please leave a note on your order form if you would like to request express delivery. Be aware additional shipping cost will be added to your bill. When requested, DDNA will inform you about the additional charges in advance.

DDNA hopes you are happy with your purchase. If for some reason you are not, you are welcome to exchange or refund your purchase within 14 days of delivery. The return shipping fee is not covered by DDNA. Please be aware that we do not accept any returns or refunds on personalized pieces.

DDNA only accepts returns in complete unused condition and with the original packaging fully intact. Upon return, our experts will screen all returns before granting a refund or an exchange. Items that do not meet our policy will not be accepted and will be sent back to the customer without any refund given.

Core collections

If you have ordered a ring from one of our core collections in the wrong size and wish to exchange it for a different size, please fill out the return/exchange form that you have received with your order.  Once DDNA has received your item in return we will make sure to ship your new ring as soon as possible.

Personalized Jewelry

All of DDNA’s personalized jewely is made to order and has an extensive design and manufacturing process. For this reason we do not offer alterations on ring sizes. In the unfortunate event you have ordered the wrong size please contact us.

Each DDNA piece is handcrafted and requires delicate handling. With some simple basic care, you can help preserve and protect your jewellery for years to come.

To protect your jewelry, we advise you to avoid wearing your jewelry whilst showering, exercising or swimming. Please be careful to avoid direct contact with oils, lotions or perfumes. Between wearings, we recommend that you place your jewelry back in its original case or another suitable lined box or pouch.

Sterling Silver

Sterling silver is a precious metal and may require cleaning from time to time. Using a small amount of silver jewelry cleaner on a soft cloth, gently rub the silver several times. Then rinse the silver thoroughly in warm water and carefully dry. This will remove the tarnish and dullness, keeping your sterling silver like new.

Gold

Most gold can be maintained using a non-abrasive cleaner. Please avoid exposing gold jewelry to household bleach, which will quickly cause gold to discolour and possibly disintegrate.

DDNA places a high value on craftsmanship and works only with the best materials and craftsmen available in the industry. In case that you receive a faulty and/or damaged item, please contact DDNA within 2 days of delivery.

Please note that DDNA guarantees only manufacturing defects. DDNA cannot be held responsible for defects due to: failure or damage caused by improper use or carelessness, defects and damage due to normal wear/tear and ageing.

A DNA sample is required to guide the creation of your personalized jewelry piece. You will receive your DNA sample kit from DDNA and after a simple cheek swab you can send your DNA sample directly back to Verilabs, using the return ticket included in the package.

Successively Verilabs will only share your unique genetic markers with DDNA in order to produce your personalized jewelry. Your genetic markers are represented by a sequence of numbers and letters unique to you. DDNA will use this information to guide the process of creation. DDNA cannot subtract any information from this sequence.

For the creation of your personalized piece, DDNA collaborates with Verilabs to acquire your unique genetic markers.

Verilabs is a state of the art research laboratory for DNA-based analysis located in the Netherlands. To secure your privacy DDNA will never handle any of the DNA samples during the creation of your unique piece.

You will receive your DNA sample kit from DDNA and after a simple cheek swab you can send your DNA sample directly to the lab, using the return ticket included in the package. After having performed a basic DNA-analysis, Verilabs will only share the necessary genetic number sequence with DDNA.

Verliabs is ISO 17025 certified and affiliated with the Dutch Forensic Institute and the Dutch Data Protection Authority and is therefore held by the highest standards concerning the handling and protection of your DNA and data.
